Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein is the most famous physicist in history. He was born in Ulm on 14 March 1879.

In 1896 he began studying mathematics and physics, for which he received a diploma at Zurich University in 1900.

In 1905 there were the first publications of the theory of relativity and quantum theory. He was awarded the title as a professor in 1909.

In 1915, Einstein published his general theory of relativity. In 1922 he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics for his services to theoretical physics. From 1925 to 1927 he continued to work on his quantum theory. In 1933, Einstein finally moved to the USA due to the Nazi takeover of power in Germany. He became involved in nuclear energy in 1945 and died in Princeton 10 years later.
